Tag questions
Remember:
1. Change subject with auxiliary verb, and negative to affirmative (or vice versa)
You’re a student, aren’t you? (YOU ARE – AREN’T YOU?)
2. The auxiliary ‘DO’ (or ‘did’) is invisible in affirmative
They do yoga, DON’T THEY?
3. Don’t confuse ‘HAVE’ the verb (Tener/Tomar) with the Auxiliary (Haber)
They have coffee after dinner, DON’T (no haven’t) they?
4. For instructions use ‘will you?’ or ‘can you?’, for suggestions ‘shall I/we?’
