- British people are reserved. Don’t be surprised if they pretend to be reading in order to avoid conversation.
- Queues are an everyday part of London life. Londoners don’t mind them.
- In a public conversation, say ‘Please’ and ‘Thank you’ as much as possible.
- When you hear a bell ring in the pub, it’s the start of ‘Happy Hour’.
- A lot of places don’t sound the way they are written.
- Try to get out of the city and into the green areas outside London.
- If you’re thinking of visiting London, stick to the tourist places.
