Practise your Listening skills with this First Certificate test from Cambridge English, level B2 – with questions and marking.

You will hear five different people talking about a concert on radio phone-in programme. For question 19-23 choose from the list A to F what each speaker is saying. Use the letters only once. There is one extra letter which you do not have to use. You will hear the recording twice.

My advice:

  • The first time you listen write two possible answers when you are not sure. This will make it easier to concentrate the second time you hear.
  • Read carefully: ‘Recommendation’ is very similar to ‘Advice’, but ‘Making a Recommendation’ is very different to ‘Asking for advice’.
